Hello! I am so excited to be part of a new campaign, The Fierce 50! It is a combination of 50 over the age of 50 women, posting today, the 50th day of the year to celebrate that this age is certainly not the end, but a new beginning. I have so enjoyed connecting and being inspired by this amazing community and I know we are just getting started.
My partner in this journey is Margaret Rowe. Margaret was born in Omaha, Nebraska and now calls Santa Monica home. She has been married to her renaissance husband for almost 20 years and is mother to their 16 year old son.
Margaret believes every woman is a star and deserving of the accoutrements that glamorize life! This motto and a beautiful family heirloom, aCzechoslovakian bracelet belonging to her great grandmother were the foundation of her business, Margaret Rowe Couture Jewelry, in 2003. Her jewelry captures the artistry and the allure of Hollywoods red carpet pageantry and has been recognized by some of the worlds most important museums and exhibits. Margaret’s pieces are consistently seen at the Oscars, Emmy’s, Golden Globes and the Grammy Awards. Celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Sharon Stone, Paula Patton, Mariah Carey, Heidi Klum, Molly Sims, Christina Applegate, Christina Hendricks, Gigi Hadid, Gabrielle Union, Tia Carrere and Jane Lynch have all worn her amazing pieces!
We are both looking forward to being inspired and also inspiring women of all ages to embrace their age, interests and life. I know that Margaret has inspired me to continue to strive to be my best and dream of what can be. Here’s to being FIERCE OVER 50! Join us and let’s get this party started!
Thank you to Catherine @catherinegrace0.com , Shauna @chicover50.com , and Cathy from @the-middlepage.com along with Mike who is our hero!

Ain’t no party like a pom-pom party! Am I right? This top just makes me happy! Just throw on some jeans and a wedge and away we go. I hope y’all had a great weekend. I can’t believe that we will start September this week. Where does the time go? It will be a while before the cool weather visits us in South Texas so transitional dressing will continue as will my love of off the shoulder. What is your favorite trends of summer? As always, thank you for stopping by. XO, Kim
Hello All! With summer starting to drift away it is time to think about transitional dressing. One of my favorite pieces to see me through is a vest. This is one I have had for about a year, from Anthropologie. I wear it winter, spring, summer and now fall! What pieces help you transition from season to season? I would love to hear from you. Thanks again for stopping by. Hope to see you soon. XO, Kim
