Summer and gingham go hand in hand, don’t you think? I love that it feels fresh and happy. Whether in small pattern or large I will be embracing gingham all season. I have never been shy to try a look or trend, I am neither completely classic or trendy, I am just me rocking what makes me feel good. I may miss the mark and that is A OK in my book. If we are afraid to try something new then we are stuck. Do you agree with that? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Wishing everyone a very happy and safe Memorial Day. I love Memorial Day remembering everyone who has served and honored our country, some paying the ultimate sacrifice. I grew up in a town that had a fabulous Memorial Day parade and all the military, boy scouts, girl scouts, high school bands, police, fire departments and just about everyone in town came out, it was wonderful. I think we need some patriotic spirit right now, just a little more flag waving and little more together we stand.
