Summer in San Antonio means the weather heats up fast and stays that way! To stay feeling fresh and crisp nothing can beat black and white with touches of silver. A beautiful blue striped wall feels pretty cool too. Hope you are having a great summer so far. Thanks for stopping by!

The Japanese Tea Garden
Day Date with Mr. Frickspicks! We enjoyed the day at the Japanese Tea Garden (notice the sign says Chinese Tea Garden, all part of the fascinating history. I googled it and you should too!) on St. Mary’s here in San Antonio. The smell of turanabol the mountain laurels was intoxicating. The sun was shining. Everything was in bloom. I saw huge koi in the ponds. So much history here. If you visit San Antonio put it on your must see! And, very important, wear shoes you can walk on rocky paths with. It’s free and it’s fabulous! Happy Weekend!
Spring
Spring in South Texas can be a roller coaster. One day 80 and the next 50! Hot and humid to windy and chilly. Not complaining mind you, just saying! Dressing in layers seems to help. I am so looking forward to beautiful blooms, sitting outside for meals (before the Texas Heat comes in!), putting down the top on the bug and cruising along with my favorite songs, opening the windows wide and enjoying the fresh air and just feeling the the freedom of spring. What are you looking forward to this spring? Whatever it is, I wish you all a very happy and beautiful spring!
