Happy May! Are you celebrating your mom this Mother’s Day? If you are lucky enough to have your mom, I encourage you to make her feel as special and beautiful as possible. This Mother’s Day I am giving gifts of beauty! I am a makeup addict! I grew up going to Catholic school where there was a NO MAKEUP policy. I looked pretty pale and sickly, as all of my school photo’s show! Uhhhhh! A short pixie hair cut with all my cowlicks sticking up everywhere didn’t help either. As a kid who was called monkey face because of a rash that made a circle around my mouth and my wrists (we later discovered I was very allergic to wool and guess what the uniform was made of!) I think the fact that makeup could completely change how I looked and felt was magical. Hence the addiction. Who doesn’t like to have the power to look and feel beautiful.
